Heritage 1907 was once the engine room that powered Ram Mill, a working cotton mill built in 1907. Today it’s a bright, high-ceilinged hall with arched windows, a glass chandelier at its centre and plenty of space to dress it exactly how you picture it.
We offer dry hire, which means you choose the people who make your day: your own caterer, your own drinks and your own decorator. If you’d like a hand finding suppliers, we’re happy to point you towards people we trust.

Ram Mill sits just off Junction 21 of the M60 in Chadderton, with quick links to the M62. Guests coming from Oldham, Rochdale, Manchester and across the North West have a straightforward drive, and there are over 250 on-site parking spaces when they arrive.

How many guests can Heritage 1907 hold?
Heritage 1907 seats up to 220 guests and holds over 300 for standing receptions, so it works for intimate parties and large weddings alike.
How much does it cost to hire the venue?
Venue hire starts from £1,500. Larger events are priced on guest numbers and the date, so get in touch with your plans and we’ll give you a clear quote.
Can we bring our own caterer, drinks and decorations?
Yes. Heritage 1907 is a blank canvas, so you’re free to bring your own caterer, drinks and decorations and design the day exactly how you want it. If you’d like help finding suppliers, we’re happy to point you in the right direction.
What kind of events can we hold here?
Weddings and birthday parties are our most popular events. We also host Nikaah ceremonies, Mehndi nights, engagement parties, anniversaries, family celebrations, corporate dinners, award evenings and office Christmas parties. Every event is tailored to you.
Which days can we book, and how late can we finish?
Events can be booked Monday to Friday from 5pm, and any time on Saturdays and Sundays. Late finishes after midnight are possible and are agreed with you when you book.
What’s included in the hire?
Tables, chairs and white tablecloths are included, along with the original 1907 features – the grand chandelier, arched windows and high ceilings – and use of our on-site parking.
Is there parking?
Yes. Ram Mill has over 250 on-site parking spaces and sits just off Junction 21 of the M60, so it’s easy for guests to reach from across Oldham and Greater Manchester.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. There’s a lift to Heritage 1907 for wheelchair users and guests with pushchairs.
