Standing high above Oldham since 1907, these towers were built as part of the original Ram Mill — one of the last cotton spinning mills constructed in the area before the industry began to decline.

The towers served a practical purpose: water storage for the mill’s internal systems, including its fire sprinkler network. The dome on the south tower held a cast iron tank, and the height helped maintain pressure throughout the building.
But function didn’t come at the expense of design. The detailed brickwork, stone banding and terracotta accents reflect the kind of ambition and pride that defined Oldham’s industrial boom.

More than a century later, the towers still define our skyline. And now… shall we tell you what we’re planning?

We’re working on designs to create high-end penthouse suites within the towers themselves. A completely unique living space, surrounded by history, with views right across the Oldham rooftops.

This space has seen a lot over the years — but nothing quite like this.
Swipe to see the transformation of one of our favourite parts of Ram Mill. What was once a dark, crumbling shell of a room is now a light-filled space with restored heritage features, modern finishes, and an atmosphere that stops people in their tracks the moment they walk in.

When we first stepped into this room, the windows were boarded up, the roof was barely holding on, and you could see the history — but only if you really looked for it. Now that history speaks for itself. It’s in the archways, the crane beam, the brickwork. And it’s been brought back to life to host weddings and events
This isn’t just a before-and-after. It’s a reminder of what’s possible when you invest in a space with vision, care, and a lot of elbow grease.

We had the pleasure of hosting a beautiful tropical-themed event here at Ram Mill over the weekend and the transformation was incredible-Every detail brought a burst of colour and energy to our industrial space.

What always amazes us is how versatile this building really is. ✅ Over 600 new windows installed across the building, each 4.7 metres high – flooding the space with natural lightt
✅Restoration of original arched windows, preserving our industrial heritage while elevating the façade
✅ New lift room added at the top – servicing two brand new passenger lifts
✅ Purpose-built glass-fronted entrance and reception for a welcoming first impression
